The David S Davies Foundation is proud to be supporting the AYO whose 100 or so musicians represent the finest young musicians in Asia. Chosen through highly competitive auditions held throughout the region, they are among the best of the best from China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The musicians are together for 6 weeks each summer, initially for a three week rehearsal camp, and then to perform on tour for three weeks as young professionals with major international solo artists and conductors.
The Goal
The support the AYO in its efforts to find Hong Kong’s finest musicians and to sponsor their progress throughout the tour and indeed monitor the experience they gain and their progress onwards.
